NO new coronavirus deaths have been recorded at Warrington Hospital for the second day in a row.

This is the first time there has been no new deaths on consecutive days.

At the Trust, 114 people have now sadly lost their lives after testing positive for Covid-19.

As of 12pm today, Thursday the hospital has tested 4,422 people of which 1,008 tested positive. 

They have 57 current Covid-19 positive inpatients (61 this time last week), six of whom are in ICU (seven this time last week).

The Trust has discharged 273 patients (252 last week).

Emergency and Urgent Care activity is recovering slowly too.

The average daily attendance in A&E is 185 (last week's average was 166) and the Urgent Care Runcorn average daily attendance is 39 (last week's average was 31).

In Warrington care homes, 88 residents are confirmed to have died due to coronavirus.

This brings the town's death toll to 202.

Across England today, a further 187 people who tested positive for the virus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 25,266.

Patients were aged between 14 and 98 years old.

Six of the 187 patients (aged between 46 and 94) had no known underlying health condition.
