FIVE residents in Bromborough Pool have cause for celebration today after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
The neighbours in Marshall Close neighbours landed the windfall when their number came up in the People’s Postcode Lottery Daily Prize draw.
Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his congratulations and said: "I'm delighted for all of our winners today in Wirral. It’s definitely not a bad way to start the week!
"I hope they all treat themselves to something nice with the cash."
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than half a million pounds to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by ActionAid, which has received more than £8.4 million in funding to change the lives of disadvantaged women and children all over the world.
