"I'm trying to do things that are easy. A lot of people buy takeaway food and ready meals. It is so much cheaper and healthier to make your own.

"I've worked out the cost so parents can see most of these dishes are only 40p per person."

Sharon hopes to show children how to make spaghetti bolognaise, soup, curry and shepherd's pie in the coming weeks.

A virtual school trip up Moel Famau in North Wales is also in the pipeline as pupils will be challenged to reach the summit by climbing stairs at home.

Families are being encouraged to cherish the precious time lockdown has created.

"It's great to learn something new together," said Sharon. "Go for a walk and see what you can see, smell and hear. Listen to the birds.

"Think of the people they will turn into because they have been so resilient through all of this.

"Enjoy this time with your children."
