Passer-by rescues man spotted in the River Weaver at Kingsmead
A PASSER-BY rescued a man spotted in the River Weaver yesterday evening, Tuesday.
Firefighters were notified of a man in the River Weaver near Marford Close in Kingsmead at around 8.50pm.
Two fire engines from Northwich and Lymm fire stations were dispatched to the scene.
On arrival, the crews found that the man had already been rescued by a passer-by.
The crews assessed the man and then passed him into the care of paramedics.
