LATEST figures show that 222 people across Trafford have been tested as positive for coronavirus.
The statistics have been released by Public Health England and the Department for Health and Social Care.
The borough ranks as fourth across Greater Manchester for the most number of cases behind Manchester (323), Stockport (246) and Salford (242).
Meanwhile nationally as of 9am on April 7, 266,694 tests for COVID-19 have concluded, with 14,006 tests on April 6.
213,181 people have been tested of which 55,242 tested positive.
As of 5pm on April 6, 6,159 of those hospitalised in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus have sadly died.
