A CASUALTY was treated for smoke inhalation after vandals set fire to a car in an arson attack.
Firefighters received multiple reports of a fire on Chilham Close in Winsford at around 3.20am this morning.
Two fire engines from Winsford were dispatched to the scene and on arrival the crews found that a car had been deliberately set alight on a driveway outside a residential property.
The fire had also spread to the front of the house.
One firefighter, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
One casualty was treated by paramedics at the scene for smoke inhalation.
Crews spend around 90 minutes dealing with the incident.
