A GARAGE is offering to provide free plastic seat covers to protect community nurses from Covid-19.
Kwik Fit on High Street is teaming up with branches across the country to help NHS staff stay safe during the pandemic.
Assistant manager Stuart Boughey said: "We are calling all community nurses to pop down. We are proving you with plastic seat covers.
"Across the country we have 176,000 to give away.
"Community nurses are travelling back and to seeing patients and we want to help to keep them safe from the virus."

The garage led by manager Raymond Gilmour and a team of five staff are remaining open to help key workers stay safe on the road.
"We are still here to help key workers make essential journeys," said Stuart.
