A people carrier was torched in an early morning arson attack on Austin Close in Winsford
VANDALS torched a people carrier in Winsford.
Firefighters were called to Austin Close shortly after 1am this morning.
On arrival the crew discovered that the fire involved the engine compartment of a people carrier.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the fire and were at the scene for around 40 minutes.
The police also attended.
It is suspected that the fire was started deliberately.
