A NEW machine has been installed at the Jiffy Packaging Company in Winsford.
Eddisbury MP Edward Timpson recently visited the site to see the plastic extruder that makes Jiffy's bubble wrap and the machine that has been making the iconic padded bags since 1964.
Managing director Richard Gregg explained how they recycle their own waste as well as sourcing paper and polyethylene to recycle into new products.
Mr Gregg said: "Edward was interested to hear that our famous Jiffy padded bag is receiving renewed interest as customers look for more sustainable and a fully recyclable mailer. It is now one of the UK’s greenest mailer products.
