POLICE were called to a Southampton Sainsbury's after reports of a man shoplifting.
A call was made from the Bedford Place shop on Friday (March 27) at around 7.50pm.
Hampshire Police confirmed a report was received regarding "a man shoplifting £240 of goods".
Last month the Echo reported that the store introduced neck-worn camera devices over fears for staff safety.
