POLICE are treating the death of a male whose body was found near Wirral woodland as 'unexplained'.
Officers were called to the entrance of Bidston Hill in Vyner Road North in Bidston on Wednesday afternoon by a dog walker, who had reportedly discovered the body on the junction of Boundary Road.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "The cause of death at the moment is being treated as unexplained.
"Enquiries are ongoing to identify the male and contact his next of kin."
