A FIRST charity race night at The Kinderton Hotel has been hailed a winner after raising £2,286 for The Christie.
The event was organised by three women from Middlewich, Hayley Lennon, Helen Pawley, Sue Griffiths and Jeanette Thompson in aid of the hospital and their late friend.

More than 90 guests attended the evening on February 22, with many regulars chipping in to support the cause.
The race night included fun betting, an amazing raffle and an extremely busy tombola.
Prizes were donated from local businesses and the group was delighted by how supportive everyone in Middlewich was.
