BUSINESSES are being urged to support the first major fundraiser of the year for St Luke's Hospice.
Bring a Bag to Work Day is all about local workplaces of all shapes and sizes coming together for one day to help stock up the hospice’s charity shops by encouraging their staff to fill a bag with unwanted clothes, shoes and accessories.
Andy Bailey, corporate partnerships manager at St Luke’s, said: "We have nine charity shops across Cheshire and we are really happy to say that they have never been busier. We have launched this campaign to meet growing demand and we would love to encourage as many local businesses as possible to get involved."
Anyone who works in Winsford, Northwich and Middlewich is encouraged to start collecting items ready for Bring a Bag to Work Day on Thursday, April 2 when the hospice will collect all the donations.
