Tranmere's fixture against Fleetwood Town on Saturday has been postponed, the club has confirmed.
In a statement released on the club's website, heavy rainfall has been attributed to the playing surface failing a pitch inspection this afternoon.
It said: "Tranmere Rovers Football Club can confirm Saturday's Sky Bet League One match against Fleetwood Town Football Club at Prenton Park has been postponed.
"There has been consistent heavy rain in the local area since last Sunday, and following a pitch inspection this afternoon, the referee has deemed the surface unplayable due to the adverse weather conditions.
"A new date will be announced for the game in due course."
