A SPECIAL event is being held for anyone interested in volunteering as a special constable.
Cheshire Constabulary is hosting an awareness event at 6pm on Thursday, March 5 at the police HQ in Winsford.
Being a special constable is a unique opportunity to do something special both for yourself and your community.
This vital role offers invaluable experiences and training that people can then use throughout their life to achieve personal or professional goals.
Special constables will be provided with full training, a uniform, and have all the powers and authority of regular officers.
