A NEW book club is looking to bring together Cheshire’s businesses.

Gadbrook Park-based Howard Worth is starting up the free ‘Business Book Club’, bringing together those who want to read and discuss topics from management skills and business growth to strategy and performance.

Meetings will be held at the Hayhurst Arms in Bostock Green and are designed to generate new ideas and inspiration from a range of business books that the group reads.

The first meeting takes place on Wednesday, March 25 from 6pm to 8pm. Howard Worth will be providing drinks and nibbles, with early booking essential.

The first book up for review is ‘Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business’ by Gino Wickman.

Business Book Club was the idea of Andrew Hague, a partner at Howard Worth Chartered Accountants.

After attending many events and networking groups, Andrew saw an opportunity to create a different type of environment for business professionals to meet.

He said: “By bringing people together with a separate purpose to usual networking events, we are hoping that we create a lively forum in which ideas, experiences and best practice are shared in conversation frequently.

“We are looking forward to meeting new contacts and seeing the group develop in 2020.”
