YOUNG musicians at Darnhall Primary School are making great progress.
Pupils have been learning how to play the guitar, thanks to teaching assistant Aaron Lambert who has a degree in music.
He offered tuition to pupils to make good use of his university studies.

Assistant headteacher Natasha Mulholland said: “We are always looking for opportunities to provide children with wider curriculum opportunities and the children have been learning the guitar.”

After only a few weeks some pupils made their first performance in Darnhall Village Hall.
