SCHOOLCHILDREN from Winsford have been taken out of this world on an exciting adventure.
Pupils from the Grange Community Nursery and Primary School took part in fascinating workshops presented by WonderDome planetarium shows.
Astronomy specialists and teachers created an interactive space shows inside a giant inflatable space domes.
Children from years 2, 4 and 5 were taken on a journey through space as they learned about the wonders of the universe.
The experience was part of the school's enriching, quality text-based curriculum.
Year 2 have been learning all about the adventures of Bob, the man on the moon,while Year 5 continued their earth and space science learning.
Year 4 were treated to an in-depth look at the constellations which extended and embedded their knowledge of Greek mythology.

Head of school Sara Albiston said:"We are just so proud to be able to offer our children these invaluable learning experiences. We know that through a trio of high-quality teaching, a vocabulary-rich curriculum and a range of enrichment experiences we can raise and maintain outcomes of all kinds for our children".
