WINSFORD has been named the 'most romantic town in Cheshire', according to new research published ahead of Valentine's Day.
Research by LoveHoney indicates couples in the town spend more on each other for Valentine’s Day than anywhere else in the region.
Winsford ranks 16th in a nationwide poll - with nearby Sandbach bottom of the list for the whole of the UK.
The figures were compiled by sexual wellness brand LoveHoney from spending stats on gift buying in the build-up to Valentine’s.
LoveHoney product director Bonny Hal, said: “Couples in Winsford are the most romantic in Cheshire - spending more on each other than anywhere else in the region the build-up to Valentine’s."
