A TEENAGER was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car on Lovely Lane last night.
The road was shut for nearly two hours after the accident near to the Hatter pub at around 7.45pm on Friday, February 7.
Cheshire Police have confirmed that a 13-year-boy was struck by the vehicle and suffered a broken leg.
He was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital by ambulance.
Lovely Lane was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident before reopening shortly after 9.30pm.
