A BIG-HEARTED schoolgirl is knitting hats to keep premature babies snug and warm.
Charlotte Nash, from Winsford, is helping her mum's friend Ida to make the hats in her spare time.
Charlotte, a year 3 pupil at Darnhall Primary School, is in charge of making the pom poms.

The tiny colourful bob hats are being given to mums on the premature care baby units at Leighton Hospital and the Countess of Chester Hospital to keep their little ones comfy and cosy.
