THE CIRCUMSTANCES surrounding the death of a man whose body was found near Gronant are not deemed suspicious, police have confirmed.
Following the discovery of a man's body on the A548 on the evening of January 24, police believe that it is that of Terrance Joseph Moores - a 63-year-old from Stockport.
Police said a home office post-mortem has today (January 28) been conducted and as a result, the death has not been deemed suspicious, and remains unexplained pending conclusion of the Pathologists' investigation.
Detective Inspector Elfyn Hughes said: “The family have been supported by specially trained Family Liaison Officers over the weekend and have been updated."
“I would like to thank all the members of public who kindly contacted us in response to our appeal and to the surrounding businesses who were also very helpful.”
