THE inquest into the death of a Bradford man who was struck by a train has been opened.
The short hearing was held at Bradford Coroners' Court this morning (Wednesday).
Assistant Coroner John Broadbridge told the court that Dennis Albert Thomas Ambrose, 65, of Park Road, Low Moor, was a retired engineer.
He died on the morning of January 10 when he was struck by an oncoming train travelling into Steeton and Silsden station.
The inquest was adjourned to allow British Transport Police to undertake an investigation.
