PASSENGER numbers at Winsford station are down by three per cent, according to the latest figures.
Some 225,250 people boarded or alighted trains at Winsford between April 2018 and March 2019, down from 232,274 the previous year.
In 2016/17, 233,450 people used the station.

There were contrasting fortunes at neighbouring West Coast Mainline stations this year, with Hartford seeing a 0.2 per cent drop while Acton Bridge passenger numbers rose by 7.2 per cent.
