KNUTSFORD Town Council is seeking the public’s views on a potential shopping App and website which would offer a digital option for existing shops.
The short survey aims to gauge consumers views on how and if they would use an App called Shop Appy.
Shop Appy allows customers to browse and buy from local shops and offers a range of click and collect options including after opening hours and multiple purchases from a single collection point.
The App is currently used in numerous towns across the UK including Kendal, Stevenage and Wakefield.
Sandra Curties, town centre manager said: “Although the survey has been commissioned in partnership with Shop Appy we are looking at the whole range of digital options available.
“If any digital option is chosen it will be to support current and future Knutsford-based shops and allow them to widen their customer base to those who live local but for numerous reasons are time poor. Shop Local but digitally.”
