CHILDREN and adults can now learn to dance at new classes.

Winsford mum Jessica Beckett has started teaching street dance to children at St Andrew's Methodist Church on Dingle Lane in Winsford every Tuesday evening.

The mum-of-one is also running ballroom and Latin sessions for adults.

"I can guarantee that in the first lesson everyone will be able to dance a waltz," said Jessica, 26, a qualified International Dance Teachers Association instructor.

"You don't need to have any experience. It's a chance to gain confidence, make friends and improve your fitness."

Jessica, who has one daughter, is qualified in many styles including street dance, free style, ballroom, Latin, rock and roll, ballet and tap.

"I love dancing," she said. "I've always taught dance and wanted to do it as a full time passion. I want everyone to see what you can achieve from it.

"We teach street dance to children in the community. Our mission is to introduce all children in Winsford and the surrounding areas to the benefits of dance.

"We don't just teach dance, we focus on discipline and respect."

A free trial class is offered for the first week. Children and adults can just turn up.

"I'm looking forward to everyone coming along as beginners and learning something new every week," said Jessica. "I want people to believe in themselves that they can do it."
