FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a fire involving a van outside a petrol station this afternoon.
A Middlewich crew was called to Shell in Holmes Chapel Road around 12.30pm to reports of a van on fire.
On arrival, they found that the van had been moved away from the forecourt.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Crews use a dry powder extinguisher and disconnected the battery.
"They then used a thermal imaging camera to check the temperature."
