BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time is coming to Winsford.
The long established weekly programme will be recorded in front of an audience at Winsford Academy.
A panel of horticultural experts will answer questions from members of the public on Tuesday, February 4.
Two programmes of the popular gardening show will be recorded.
Over Allotments Association is hosting the event.
Vice chairman John Malam said: "This is a first for Winsford. Gardeners' Question Time is a stalwart of the airwaves and has been broadcast since 1947 from a different venue around the UK each week.
"It's a panel programme where well know gardening experts answer all manner of gardening questions from the audience.
"We don't know yet who will be on the panel."
It is estimated that 35,000 questions have been asked by audiences since the show started.
Current panelists include Matthew Wilson, Chris Beardshaw, Matthew Biggs, Bob Flowerdew, Pippa Greenwood, Bunny Guinness, Anne Swithinbank, James Wong and Christine Walden, chaired by BBC presenter Kathy Clugston.
"We've been waiting a long time for Gardeners' Question Time to come to Winsford," added John. "We sent our application in eight years ago and from time to time asked if we were still on the waiting list.
"I never gave up hope and was delighted when I got a call just before Christmas to say Winsford was booked for a visit. Patience has paid off. It's a great start to the year for gardeners!

"It's great news for Over Allotments Association and for Winsford which will be given a massive shout-out by the BBC when the programmes are broadcast later in the year."

Members of the public are invited to come along, ask questions and watch the programme being recorded. The audience can arrive at 5.30pm. The first programme will be recorded at 6.30pm and the second at 7.30pm.
Anyone who has a question can write it on the ticket and hand it in on the night between 5.30pm and 6.10pm.
The Gardeners' Question Time will then select the questions.
