AN Indian takeaway and restaurant has completed an extensive refurbishment to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The Balti, formally known as Balti Cottage, has installed the only open kitchen in Winsford.
The new look takeaway on Over Square is offering a 15 per cent discount until January 16, 2020, to thank customers for their loyalty over the past 25 years.
Sheikh Uddin, from The Balti, said: "We had an open kitchen when the restaurant first opened in 1994 and decided to create one again so that people can see what we are cooking.

"The Balti specialises in freshly cooked food and our chefs can prepare customers' favourite dishes including tandoori, tikka, balti, Korahi, jalfraizi, masala, korma, madras, rogan josh and many more.
"Our current food hygiene rating is 4."

Customers can bring their own bottle.

The business employs is investing around £55,000 in new modern fittings, fixtures and equipment, he said, and plans to complete the new look of the 36-seater restaurant early next year.
The Balti employs eight full-time staff plus part time when needed.
