FORMER Warrington Wolves prop Ashton Sims is back in Australia - but not without an emotional goodbye to the town that was his home for five years.
He may have left The Wire in 2017, but the Fiji international continued to live in Warrington following his move to Toronto Wolfpack.
After retiring from rugby league earlier this year, however, he has returned to his homeland with wife Nicole, son Kobe and daughters Alani, Isla and Kaya - the latter of whom was born in Warrington.
Sims, who joined Warrington in 2015, left this message on Twitter.
Dear Warrington,

•5 of the best years we’ve had as a family🇬🇧
•Met some of the best people I/we’ve ever come across🇬🇧
•Some of the toughest & resilient MF’ers I’ve played with & against🇬🇧
We left Aus with 5 & come back with 6.
We’ll always have a Pommy with us🏴#ThankYou ❤️ pic.twitter.com/IYDOkTV1eL
