NORTHWICH Business Improvement District (BID) has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the bars, pubs and restaurants that are waiting to be enjoyed in the town centre.

Northwich Nightlife has been created by Studio 24-7 to shine a spotlight on the ‘diverse and atmospheric’ venues that the town has to offer and to encourage people to pay them a visit.

The main elements of the campaign include a promotional video, which had thousands of views within the first two days of being released, and a dedicated page on the Visit Northwich website.

This lists a number of different businesses, with links to either their website or social media channels.

Northwich BID Manager Jane Hough has explained why the campaign has been launched now and revealed what she hopes the outcome of the initiative will be.

“The town is full of amazing pubs, bars and restaurants and there really is something to cater for all tastes and preferences,” she said.

Northwich Guardian:

“The nightlife offering in Northwich has gone from strength to strength in recent years, but unfortunately not everybody in the town and surrounding areas knows what’s on their doorstep.

“That is why we have launched Northwich Nightlife, and it seemed a great time with Christmas just around the corner.

“Hopefully people will watch the video, realise just how vibrant and inviting the nightlife scene is in Northwich and head into town for a night out with their friends or family.

“There are some truly brilliant businesses here with amazing people working behind the scenes and they deserve our support.”

The campaign by Northwich BID follows a number of other initiatives aimed at positioning the town as a destination with a difference.

These include the re-branding of the Visit Northwich website and Live from Northwich, which promoted independent businesses.
