THE family of a man who died on Saturday after being found with serious injuries have paid tribute to him.
Archie Robson, 59, from Macclesfield, had lived in Knutsford for a long time before moving to Macclesfield.
He was taken to Macclesfield Hospital on Friday night after being found with serious injuries at an address in Glegg Street, Macclesfield.
A tribute from Archie’s family said: "He was a lovely, intelligent guy, friendly to everyone and a character people just loved. We will miss him deeply."
Up to a year ago Archie had lived in Knutsford for a long time before moving to Macclesfield.
Two Macclesfield have been charged with murder following Archie's death. A third man has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault. He has been bailed pending further inquiries.
