FIREFIGHTERS had to remove a van door to free the driver after a crash in Byley this morning, Friday.
Shortly before 1am, three fire engines from Middlewich, Northwich and Winsford were called to a one vehicle collision on King Street.
One ambulance was also dispatched to the scene along with a senior clinician to assist.
On arrival, fire crews found that one person, a female in her 30s, was trapped inside the van.
Firefighters helped paramedics to remove the van door and then used a long board to help extricate one casualty.
The patient was then taken to Leighton Hospital after complaining of pains.
Firefighters remained in attendance for approximately one hour and 25 minutes.
