FIREFIGHERS were called to a fire in Booth Lane, Middlewich yesterday.
One fire engine from Sandbach was sent to Booth Lane at 11.04am after receiving reports of a small unattended fire at the roadside.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: "Firefighters were called to deal with a fire that had been left to burn in a brazier near the roadside.
"They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames."
