FIREFIGHTERS had to remove thick shrubs to allow a driver to get out of his car after it came off the road between Chester and Ellesmere Port this morning.
Two crews - from Powey Lane and Ellesmere Port - attended the scene of the single-vehicle collision on Dunkirk Way, Backford, at around 7am on Friday (October 18).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews removed undergrowth to enable the driver to get out of the vehicle.
"He is not believed to have sustained any significant injuries as a result of the incident.
"Firefighters were in attendance for around 15 minutes."
