A PATCHWORK-INSPIRED craft workshop will take children on a journey of discovery at the end of the month.
'Patchwork Wonders' will be shown at the Lion Salt Works Museum on Wednesday, October 30.
The enchanting show brings to life a wonky, magical, dream-like world to life for children.
A genre-bursting mix of beatboxing and animation produced by The Stitch Brothers, it features jazz, hip hop and South Asian folk music.
Tickets to this performance cost £6.50 per adult; £4.50 for under 16-year olds and family tickets are also available. The 60-minute play – part of Cheshire Rural Touring Arts – is aimed at 5-8 year olds.
Doors open at 10.30am for an 11am start and bookings can be made online at ticketsource.co.uk/cheshireruraltouringarts or by calling the museum on 01606 275066.
To celebrate Patchwork Wonders, the Lion Salt Works is also holding two drop-in, patchwork-inspired craft workshops for children over half term.
They will take place on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30 from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 4pm, costing £2 per child.
Cllr Louise Gittins, leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council, said: “The Lion Salt Works Museum has staged some wonderful performances and this playful and fun show promises to be another one that delights and entrances children.”
