WINSFORD Diamonds Football Club has launched their annual Christmas appeal.
Players will be supporting the Salvation Army and Mid Cheshire Foodbank to help families in crisis.
Club chairman Jon Roberts said: "To do this we need support from members of our community to donate toys and food to these wonderful charities who give to families who otherwise would go without.
"Any donations will be gratefully received.
"A big thank you in advance from everyone at Winsford Diamonds!"
Donations of food and toys can be made at various places across Winsford.
People can contribute items until December 6 to give the charities time to distribute the gifts to needy families.
Collection points include Amor Hair, High Street, Vale Royal Kitchens, Road 5, Winsford Industrial Estate, Woodford Lane, Winsford Vapour, Over Square and Winsford United Barton Stadium, Wharton Road
