A MAN was taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire.
Firefighters were called to Swanlow Lane shortly after 6.30am this morning.
On arrival crews found that the fire had involved a toaster which had been extinguished by the occupant.
Firefighters used a large fan to clear the smoke from the property and the occupant was given oxygen therapy to treat potential smoke inhalation.
The man was subsequently taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
