MORRISONS has issued a recall on a kids pyjama set after deeming it unsafe.

The product subject to the recall is the ‘Nutmeg Baby Boys and Girls Woven Pyjamas’ shown above, which has an age range from three months to three years.

This is due to fears that buttons may become detached and pose a choking risk to children.

If you have purchased the pyjama range with a style number 21853 (blue) or 21854 (pink) on the label, please return the product to your nearest Morrisons store for a full refund.

A statement from Morrisons reads: “Morrisons is recalling these pyjamas because we have identified there is a risk that the buttons may become detached from the jacket, presenting a potential hazard to infants and small children.

“Please stop using the pyjamas and return them to your nearest store for a full refund. We do not need a receipt.

“No other products are affected by this issue.

“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”
