AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl from Great Sankey has raised £500 at her Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Summer Worrall has been raising money for charity since she was just four years old.
Last year she raised £250 for Macmillan but impressively doubled that amount at her event this year at the Trigger Pond pub.
Summer would like to thank everyone who showed support at her coffee morning and to all those who donated cakes.
Natasha Worrall, Summer's mum, said: "We would like to say thank you to Tesco, Nando's and all the other local businesses that kindly donated towards the raffle.
"Summer is now on her next mission making preparations for her event for Children in Need.
"I would like to thank the Trigger Pond in Great Sankey for allowing us to have the event.
"It wouldn't have happened without them.
"The biggest thanks goes to Summer, we are all so proud of her."
