STARS from the stage and screen have once again teamed up to support a unique Winsford charity.

TV actors David Morrissey and Selina Cadell will be among the famous faces performing festive readings and songs at The Spirit of Christmas at Chester Cathedral in aid of the Neuromuscular Centre.

Previous celebrities have included Jim Broadbent, Alison Steadman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Carey Mulligan and Imelda Staunton to name just a few!

The concert is hosted by Matthew Kelly of Stars in Their Eyes fame and raised vital cash for the NMC which provides a range of specialist services and unique opportunities for people with muscular dystrophy, a progressive and debilitating muscle wasting condition with no known cure.
