FAMILY and friends of Mark Bradbury gathered at Walton Lea Crematorium this afternoon, Friday to say goodbye to the Padgate man.

Beloved family man Mr Bradbury suffered ‘significant’ head injuries after being attacked at his home on Station Road South in Padgate last month.

The 58-year-old's death shocked the community and tributes poured in for him.

Hannah Bradbury, Mark's daughter, said: "My dad, taken from us far too soon, was so loved by so many.

"We are immensely grateful for the kind words and support we have been given in these tragic times."

She described her dad as a 'funny, generous and charming man' and 'the life and soul of every party'.

Hannah invited the community to go and share stories and memories of her dad at his funeral today.

Family friend Lisa Falconer has set up a fundraising page to fulfil Mark's wish of taking Hannah to New York for her 21st birthday.

Lisa said: "Mark was saving up for something special, he was planning to take his beautiful daughter Hannah to New York for her 21st birthday.

"Tragically Mark was murdered before he could fulfil his dream.

"Let's grant his final wish. I am hoping we can raise enough money for Hannah to take the trip to New York in memory of her father on her special day on April 7 2021."
