POLICE officers have released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in relation to an altercation, after a Northwich man suffered a fractured eye socket.

The incident early on Sunday, June 16, took place in Frodsham and resulted in four people being taken to hospital in Chester.

The altercation involving a group of people began around 12.25am outside the Costa Coffee shop on Church Street and continued outside The Cholmondeley Arms.

A number of people suffered facial injuries as a result of the incident.

One of them – a 37-year-old man from Frodsham – had suffered a broken jaw, while another man – a 26-year-old from Northwich – had sustained a fractured eye socket.

Two men from Frodsham – aged 29 and 30 – and a 23-year-old man from Accrington have been arrested in connection with the incident.

They have all been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and detectives believe that the man and the woman in the CCTV images may have important information to help their investigation.

They are urging anyone who recognises them or thinks they may know who they are to get in touch.

Detectives also want to speak to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened, as well as to anyone who has any relevant CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage.
