A WARM weekend is in store for the North West of England.
According to the Met Office, despite some early fog patches for some on Friday morning, the outlook for the weekend is good.
Saturday and Sunday will be dry, bright and warm.
Bolton, Bury and Chorley look like the places to be for the highest temperatures as the mercury rises to 21 degrees C in the afternoon.
Meanwhile Oldham and Blackburn will still bask in the sun and are not far behind at 20 degrees C on Saturday afternoon.
Overnight, the temperatures will dip to between 16 and 17 in those places.
There is may be a chance of showers and freshening winds are likely late on Saturday, becoming widespread on Sunday.
It will still be pleasant on Sunday with temperatures averaging 18 degrees.
