SAMANTHA MITCHELL

Aged 31, of Rugby Road, Worthing, admitted failing to provide a breath test when suspected of drink driving. Fined £300, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

JOHN WHITE

Aged 38, of Ryelands Drive, Brighton, found guilty of failing to stop at the scene of an accident where a cyclist was injured, failing to report it to police, and driving without due care and attention. Ordered to pay an £85 surcharge and £930 costs and put under curfew for eight weeks between 9pm and 7am. Banned from driving for one year.

NATHAN LANE

Aged 29, of Sutton Close, Brighton, admitted assaulting a woman in Brighton. Ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and 12 rehabilitation sessions. To pay £150 in compensation with £85 costs. Put under a restraining order until 2021.

JAMIE TURNER

Aged 32, of Roedean Avenue, Brighton, admitted three counts of burglary. Ordered to complete drugs dependency treatment for one year and eight rehabilitation sessions. To pay an £85 surcharge and £85 costs.

JOSHUA JOHNSON

Aged 25, of Horsham Road, Steyning, found guilty of drug driving. Tested positive for MDMA and cannabis in his system. Admitted possessing cannabis. Ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work, with ten rehabilitation sessions. To pay an £85 surcharge and £625 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

DEAN PLANT

Aged 39, of Kings Garden, Hove, admitted failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £220, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 28 days.

CHANTELLE SYMONS

Aged 36, of Heighton Road, South Heighton, admitted failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Wales to the police. Fined £110 with a £20 surcharge.

MICHAEL WRIGHT

Aged 30, of Ambleside Avenue, Telscombe, found guilty of failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £150 with a £30 surcharge. Six points added to his licence.

GARETH HOLLIDAY

Aged 42, of Butts Road, Southwick, admitted fishing or taking fish without a licence at Passies Pond, Steyning. Fined £40, with a £30

surcharge and £127 costs.

NATHANIEL PECK

Aged 29, of Preston Road, Brighton, admitted depositing black sacks of household waste without an environmental permit. Fined £300, with a £30 surcharge and £350 costs.

SHANNON RUSSELL

Aged 25, of Bridge Close, Lancing, guilty in absence of giving a false address to Brighton and Hove City Council, and dropping a cigarette butt in Hove. Fined £440,

with £400 costs and a £30 surcharge.

JESS CONNELL

Aged 30, of Elphick Road, Newhaven, admitted driving without insurance and a valid licence, assaulting a man in Seaford and damaging a dashboard camera in his car. Ordered to complete 20 rehabilitation sessions. Fined £250, and to pay £170 in compensation, with an £85 surcharge, and £310 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

JOE GAHADZA

Aged 27, of Oxford Road, Worthing, admitted driving without insurance and without due care and attention. Fined £276, with a £30 surcharge and £100 costs. Eight points added to his licence.
