MATTY Smith looks set to miss Warrington Wolves' Super League elimination final with Castleford Tigers on Thursday.
The half-back has been hit with a one-match penalty notice by the RFL's Match Review Panel for an instance of dangerous contact during Friday's defeat at Leeds Rhinos.
The panel ruled Smith "used any part of his body forcefully to twist, bend or otherwise apply pressure to the limb or limbs" of Rhinos full-back Jack Walker in the 50th minute of The Wire's 26-4 defeat at Headingley, with the incident labelled as Grade B.
Opponents Castleford are also due to have a player missing through suspension - forward Jesse Sene-Lefao has been given a two-match ban for the strike with his knee that saw him sent off against Wigan on Thursday.
Elsewhere, Leeds winger Luke Briscoe has been given a one-match ban for sliding in knee-first to prevent Tom Lineham from scoring a second-half try for The Wire.
