A POPULAR woodland festival is back on Anglesey to help promote traditional skills and crafts.

Thousands of people are set to take part in the 14th annual Anglesey Woodland Festival held in the grounds of Plas Newydd from 11am-4pm, on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29.

The free festival is organised by Outdoor Learning Wales in association with the National Trust. It is a family-fun event which includes demonstrations from experienced craftspeople, locally sourced food and stalls selling handmade items. Demos include spoon carving, clog making, and greenwood work. See: http://angleseywoodfest.co.uk/
