A WOMAN has been banned from going to a Bury high school after she was found guilty of assaulting four females and using threatening behaviour on September 25, 2018. Anita Paczkowska, aged 44, of Alfred Street, Bury, was told she cannot go to Broad Oak Sports College for two years. In addition she was electronically tagged and made subject to a 7pm to 7am curfew for six months, or ordered to pay her victims £350 in compensation as well as £450 towards prosecution costs.

A MAN has been jailed for 16 weeks after he admitted causing damage the Croma restaurant in Prestwich and assaulting a woman on September 5. Manchester magistrates heard that the damage was estimated at £50. He was ordered to pay £150 in compensation.

A BURY teenager has been sentenced to an electronically tagged curfew for three months after he admitted assaulting a police officer on March 18. The 17-year-old, who appeared at Manchester Youth Court and cannot be named because of his age, also pleaded guilty possessing seven bags of cannabis and stealing a bag from garage on May 27. His curfew will last from 9pm to 7am and he was ordered to participate in 120 days of supervision and activities as well as pay a total of £130 in compensation.

MAGISTRATES have fined a teenager £75 for driving without a licence on March 22. Jake Hindle, aged 19, of Camberley Close, Tottington, was also ordered to pay £115 in costs and charges and added three penalty points to his driving record.

A RADCLIFFE teenager who assaulted a woman police officer on July 1 has been ordered to pay her £50 in compensation plus £85 towards prosecution costs. At Manchester Youth Court the 17-year-old pleaded guilty to committing the offence.

MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to do 100 hours of unpaid work after he pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour towards two women and damaging a mobile phone. Lee Downie, aged 25, of Cross Lane, Radcliffe, was given a community sentence with 10 days of rehabilitation activities as well as the unpaid work and was also ordered to pay £285 in costs and charges.

MANCHESTER Youth Court has made a 16-year-old boy from Bury subject to a youth rehabilitation order for six months with participation in reparation and victim awareness for six days after he admitted assaulting a woman on July 1. He was also ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

A TEENAGER who harassed a woman by sending her numerous text messages, has been electronically tagged and made subject to a 7pm to 7am curfew for six weeks. At Manchester Magistrates' Court Thomas Hopley, aged 19, of Mossfield Close, Bury, pleaded guilty to committing the offence between January 23 and 27. He was also ordered to pay £170 in costs and charges.

A WOMAN has been fined £120 after she admitted being drunk and disorderly in Seddon Street, Radcliffe on August 24. At Manchester Magistrates' Court Hanna Ridgley, aged 29, of Beechcroft, Prestwich, was also ordered to pay £117 in costs and charges.

MAGISTRATES have banned a woman from the roads for a year after she was caught driving on ther M60 motorway after using cocaine. Jessica Prevett, aged 25, of Cann Street, Tottington, denied committing the offence, whilst driving an Audi A4 near Middleton, but at Manchester Magistrates' Court she was found guilty. In addition to the driving ban, Prevett was fined £200 and ordered to pay £1,230 in costs and charges.

A DRINK driver who used a car without a licence or insurance has been fined £250 by Manchester magistrates. Matthew Harrison, aged 34, of Walmersley Road, Bury, had drunk more than twice the legal level of alcohol on April 4 when he drove a Vauxhall Astra on Smethurst Hall Road, Bury. He pleaded guilty to committing the offences and was also banned from applying for a driving licence for 40 months and ordered to pay £115 in costs and charges.
