DISRUPTION has eased in Knutsford following a crash in Hollow Lane earlier this afternoon.
Police officers were called to the junction of Hollow Lane and Brook Street after a car crashed into the pedestrian crossing.

The signal-controlled crossing island is used by Brook Street pedestrians.
Fortunately, police report, there were no injuries.
High Legh and Mobberley's policing team wrote on Twitter: "A momentary lapse of concentration causes an unfortunate result. Driver is safe and well."
