FUNDING of up to £1,000 is available for groups in Warrington to run projects in their community.
Sanctuary Group, a UK social housing provider, is offering the money through its Grand Ideas Fund to support organisations that make a difference.
It is keen to offer the funding to projects that promote health and wellbeing and reduce isolation as well as those that tackle antisocial behaviour and domestic violence.
Among the projects that have already benefited include healthy eating workshops and money management sessions.
Chris Pratty, Sanctuary’s community investment officer, said: "Sanctuary is committed to creating sustainable communities and helping them be good places to live.
"This money could make a significant difference and I would encourage any groups that are interested to contact us- we’d be happy to hear from you."
